Army Corp of Engineers / Mobile Alabama District

MEDCOM Construction Services
ARGO was awarded an ID/IQ contract through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, Alabama district for Construction Engineering Services for DoD Army Medical Facilities. This contract includes but not limited to support for repair, renovation, construction, operation and maintenance, and other facility programs. It also involves general services, technical management, and total project and program management.

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

Targeted Brownfields Assessments
ARGO was awarded a contract with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This contract is to provide support in conducting Targeted Brownfields Assessments (TBAs) under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). This includes performing Phase I and Phase II environmental assessments, background and historical investigation, preliminary site inspections, sampling for contaminants, identification of cleanup options and cost estimates based on future uses and redevelop plans.

Air Force

AFCESA SATOC
ARGO is a main subcontractor to DWG and Associates who has been awarded one of 16 prime contracts under the Air Force Civil Engineer Support Agency (AFCESA) $4 billion Sustainment/Restoration & Modernization (S/R&M) Acquisition Task Order Contract (SATOC).

The SATOC program will focus on projects to maintain, repair, and modernize existing military facilities. Scopes of work under this contract will include: S/R&M work, facility renovations, infrastructure repairs and construction, demolition, traditional construction, engineering services, and maintenance. The period of performance is a 5-year basic ordering period with five 1-year options. Under the SATOC, ARGO will provide construction services at DoD installations worldwide, including remote, austere, and hostile locations.

US Army Corps of Engineers

Oyster Restoration, Delaware Bay
ARGO was awarded a multi-phased shell planting and transplanting program to improve oyster population in the Delaware Bay. The project includes the planting of approximately 500,000 bushels of oyster and clam shell onto the bay bottom to promote oyster recruitment. Approximately 20,000 bushels of newly set oyster seeds will be transplanted up-bay to increase the population of marketable oysters. Clamshell will be purchased and stockpiled for future planting operations.

Department of Defense

B5B Substation Replacement Project, for the Maryland Procurement Office, Ft. Meade, Maryland
ARGO was awarded the B5B Substation Replacement project August 2007. This project a prototype for 70 new substation, involves the replacement of existing outdated 4000 amp double-ended substation with new 4000 amp Network Double-Ended Substation to include replacement of 13.8kV feeders and maintain service to all associated distribution and branch panels fed from substation. This includes the installation of new 1600 amp switchboard to temporarily feed numerous 1200 amp critical branch panels during replacement.

General Services Administration - GSA Schedule

Construction Management, Bowling Center, Naples, Italy
ARGO was awarded the purchase and management of outfitting the Bowling Center at the Support Site in Naples, Italy. The project includes the purchase and installation of kitchen equipment, furniture, and accessory items to outfit the snack bar area, Irish style theme pub, meeting and dining areas. The project includes the procurement of all equipment, delivery and setup.

United States Department of Agriculture

Pre-Fabricated Storage Building, for the US Department of Agriculture Natural Resource Conservation Services, Beltsville, Maryland
ARGO was awarded the purchase and management of outfitting the Bowling Center at the Support Site in Naples, Italy. The project includes the purchase and installation of kitchen equipment, furniture, and accessory items to outfit the snack bar area, Irish style theme pub, meeting and dining areas. The project includes the procurement of all equipment, delivery and setup.

US Department of Veterans Affairs

Enhanced Use Lease Advisory Services, Veterans Affairs
ARGO provides environmental planning and engineering support to the VA’s Enhanced Use Lease Program. This support includes environmental site assessments, NEPA documentation, Historic Impact assessments, zoning issues, and other engineering and facility analysis required to support the development of a request for proposal to the developer community.

U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity

Research Greenhouse Building Construction
ARGO was awarded the demolition and construction of a 9,000 square foot greenhouse for USDA, a tenant at Ft. Detrick with an option for the demolition and construction of a second greenhouse. Construction of the 9,000 SF greenhouse includes all new structural slab and foundation, plumbing, drain and filter systems, electrical, lighting, HVAC, and autoclave.

ARGO is responsible for all aspects of construction services. We prepared the quality assurance plans, developed the schedule, prepared contract modifications and change orders, and tracked all project costs. ARGO reviewed the design drawings and specifications for mechanical, electrical, life safety, civil/site efforts, structural, concrete and interior outfitting elements. All submittals were developed and processed. We conducted daily on-site inspection to insure the activities were conducted in accordance with QA plan. We also monitored construction safety.

U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity

Medical Administrative Building Construction
ARGO was awarded the construction of a 10,000 square foot Medical Administration Building on Ft. Detrick, Maryland. This design build project is a single-story, pre-engineered metal structure with brick veneer and seamed metal roof. The interior office spaces are outfitted with a split HVAC system, sprinkler, data and communication drops, dry wall, carpet, and vinyl.

ARGO is responsible for all aspects of construction services. We prepared the quality assurance plans, developed the schedule, prepared contract modifications and change orders, and tracked all project costs. ARGO prepared design documents for all mechanical, electrical, life safety, civil/site efforts, structural, concrete and interior outfitting elements. All submittals were developed and processed. We conducted daily on-site inspection to insure the activities were conducted in accordance with QA plan. We also monitored construction safety.

NAVFAC

Presidential Helicopter Facility, Patuxent River, MD
ARGO was awarded the contract to install the roof on the new Presidential Helicopter hanger and administrative research facility at Patuxent River, Maryland. ARGO provides administrative support of a third tier subcontractor.
