John Chubb Joins the ARGO Team

Mr. Chubb is a seasoned project manager and infrastructure professional. He has led multiple projects in excess of $1 billion using the full range of acquisition approaches from design-bid-build to design-build and, also, early contractor involvement. Projects include high availability mission critical facilities, hospitals, bio defense laboratories, K-12 and a full range of military facilities for defense applications. Mr. Chubb has extensive experience with DoD programs having served decades with the U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers in many key management positions including the chief of construction division. He has served in the field offices for most of his career in construction leadership positions.

Mr. Chubb is a former U.S. Army Engineering Officer and a service-disabled veteran. He holds an MS Degree in Systems Management and received a BS degree in Civil Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy. He is a registered professional engineer, project management professional and a certified construction manager.

Selects COPT building in Anne Arundel County, Maryland for Headquarters

Glen Burnie, MD (Dec 1, 2010) –ARGO Systems, LLC, announces the relocation and expansion of the corporate headquarters in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Previously in Glen Burnie, MD, ARGO will now manage all corporate operations in Hanover, Maryland in a new office space owned and designed by Corporate Office Property Trust. The move will take place during the first quarter of 2011 to accommodate the company’s ongoing growth and expansion. ARGO will be strategically located in closer proximity to customers and alliance partners.

Vets Get County Job Opportunities

Veterans residing in Anne Arundel County will now have an advantage when vying for county jobs.

A recently passed county bill is intended to aid military personnel returning from Iraq and Afghanistan in finding work. "I've made advocating for veterans my business," said Councilman Jamie Benoit, District 4, who introduced the bill. "Military folks are about twice as likely to be unemployed and we owe these people an opportunity to find meaningful employment and get on with their lives."

The bill gives preferential treatment to all veterans applying for county jobs. There is no guarantee the veteran will get the job but he or she is guaranteed consideration for the position.

"Veterans bring excellent skill sets to the table and this bill recognizes the great sacrifice they make for the freedom we have," said County Executive John R. Leopold, who supports the bill.

ARGO Systems, LLC Selected as Subcontractor on the Construction of the Wesley A. Brown Field House at the U.S. Naval Academy

Glen Burnie, MD (August 1, 2006) - Glen Burnie-based ARGO Systems, LLC (www.argo-sys.com) today announced that they have been selected as a subcontractor on the construction of the Wesley A. Brown Field House at the U.S. Naval Academy. ARGO's initial involvement includes the construction of a transformer enclosure facility that will house electrical distribution equipment.

Hensel Phelps Construction Company (HPCC) is the prime contractor selected by NAVFAC to construct this $40 Million dollar project. Construction on the field house began July 2006 and is expected to be complete in 2 years.
