This project includes renovations and incidental related work to restore the 4th and 6th floors of the Mental Health Ward of the hospital. The work conducted on these floors encompasses a renovation of the East and West Wings, which will include a new Inpatient Mental Health Ward, a new Outpatient Clinic, Six Watch Rooms, Biomed space, Anesthesiology Department and general offices, according to health codes, functional program and anti-ligature requirements. Additional work will include mechanical HVAC and exhaust systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, fire protection, new walls, floors, and ceilings. The total renovated area will include 17,145 square feet on the 4th floor and 9,009 square feet on the 6th floor with small areas of work on the 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 8th floors, as well as the roof.
